Creamy No-Bake Cold Brew Tiramisu Cups

A quick and easy no-bake dessert combining creamy mascarpone and smooth cold brew coffee, perfect for summer gatherings and coffee lovers.

  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee, chilled
  • 20 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
  • 8 ounces (225 g) mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream, chilled
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Optional: splash of coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)

Instructions

  1. Chill your cold brew coffee ahead of time. If making yourself, steep coarsely ground coffee beans in cold water for 12-24 hours, then strain.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat 1 cup heavy cream with ½ cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until soft peaks form (about 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer).
  3. In another bowl, gently fold the 8 ounces of room-temperature mascarpone cheese until smooth but not overmixed.
  4. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone using a spatula, keeping the mixture fluffy and airy.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cold brew coffee, about 1 second per side, just enough to soak but not soggy.
  6. Layer the cups starting with 2-3 coffee-soaked ladyfingers at the bottom, then add a generous spoonful of mascarpone cream. Repeat layers once more, finishing with mascarpone on top.
  7. Cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Just before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder using a fine mesh strainer. Optionally add chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of instant espresso powder.

Notes

Stop whipping cream at soft peaks to avoid grainy texture. Fold mascarpone and whipped cream gently to keep mixture airy. Dip ladyfingers quickly to avoid sogginess. Chill at least 2 hours for best flavor and texture. Optional splash of coffee liqueur adds an adult twist.
