  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture from the skin. (5 minutes)
  2. Drizzle about 1 tablespoon olive oil over the chicken thighs. Sprinkle evenly with 1 teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and a pinch of cayenne pepper if using. Rub the seasoning into the skin gently. (5 minutes)
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it run empty for 3 minutes.
