A quick and easy no-bake snack combining the salty crunch of pretzels with the sweet creaminess of Oreos and peanut butter. Perfect for busy days or last-minute gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup (240 ml) peanut butter, creamy or chunky
  • 1 cup (50 g) pretzels, crushed
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup (40 g) mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos and pretzels: Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed but still textured. Transfer to a large mixing bowl. Crush pretzels in a food processor or sealed bag with a rolling pin until small pieces form. Add to the bowl with Oreos.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Combine everything: Add the peanut butter mixture to the Oreo and pretzel crumbs. Add mini chocolate chips if using. Mix with a spatula or hands until a thick, sticky dough forms. Adjust with peanut butter or powdered sugar if needed.
  4. Form the balls: Scoop about 1 tablespoon (15 g) of dough and roll into balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill to set: Cover the tray with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Once chilled, serve immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Keep hands cool by dipping in cold water while rolling to prevent sticking. Do not skip chilling step to ensure balls hold their shape. Can freeze for 15 minutes to speed chilling. For gluten-free, use gluten-free Oreos and pretzels. Nut-free options include sunflower seed butter or tahini. Variations include adding cocoa powder, pumpkin spice, or freeze-dried fruit.
