This easy white chocolate bark combines salty pretzels, sweet candy corn, and creamy white chocolate for a quick, no-bake fall treat that’s perfect for Halloween parties and Thanksgiving dessert tables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces (about 2 cups) white chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups mini pretzels, roughly crushed
  • 1 cup candy corn, divided (¾ cup for mixing, ¼ cup for topping)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt flakes
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving a few inches of overhang on each side. Crush pretzels into small pieces (mix of ¼-inch bits and larger chunks). Set aside ¼ cup of candy corn for topping.
  2. Place white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring thoroughly between each interval. If using coconut oil, add it after the first interval. Continue until mostly smooth with a few small lumps remaining.
  3. Check temperature: ideal melting temperature for white chocolate is between 100-110°F. Test by dabbing on your wrist—it should feel warm but not hot.
  4. Working quickly, fold 1 ½ cups crushed pretzels and ¾ cup candy corn into the melted white chocolate using a gentle folding motion.
  5. Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Spread into an even layer about ¼-inch thick using a spatula. Don’t worry about making it perfectly rectangular.
  6. Immediately sprinkle reserved ¼ cup candy corn over the top, pressing gently so they stick. Finish with a light sprinkle of sea salt flakes.
  7. Place baking sheet in refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until chocolate is completely firm to the touch.
  8. Once set, lift parchment paper to remove bark from baking sheet. Break into irregular pieces.

Notes

Don’t overheat white chocolate—it scorches easily. Use 50% power and stir every 30 seconds. Work fast once chocolate is melted as it sets quickly. Use fridge, not freezer, to set the bark to avoid condensation. Let bark come to room temperature before serving for best flavor and texture. Flavors improve after a day or two.
